M50 non vanos motor with oil in the plug holes. I have a VC gasket kit sitting on my dining room table... just waiting for the weekend. I have noticed a hiss sound for a while. It doesn't go away when i press on the intake manifold or TB. Just recently, maybe a week ago, my car seems a little bogged down... doesn't seem to pick up like it did a few weeks ago. I also notice that if i blip the throttle sometimes i get a POP like a backfire. Would this all be the fact that my VC gasket is gone?
