Here are some pics I took today. I got this car last week. It has 133K miles on it. Hopefully will last for another 100K:

Easily a classic, even has the later style comfort seats in pergament...beatiful.

And, you can bet your mighty ass it'll last another 100k, if properly cared for.

(sorry, I really like that Forrest Gump line...it's a classic).

best, whit

Welcome, Nice cars. Great side by side shot. I like your rims and the color of the wood on the 535i. This board will tell you the E34 still looks best. Maybe in the Spring, I will do a shot of all the Bimmers with an emphasis on Spring, because right now until a rain has washed away Mr. Salty, mine are parked.

She's just getting broke in! Very nice, congrats! Now the question is, given a month or so which one you like best.

Hmmm... do the centers on those ACS rims come off? I think they would look better as parallel spokes than filled like now. But then, that's me :)

Does that car have a short shift kit or something? That stubby little lever looks teriffic.

I live in Roselle Park. It is in Union County up north from where you are.

Yes it has a shortshifter. I'm still getting the hang of it. Not as buttery smooth as my 530i standard shifter but it has a very precise movement from gear to gear. Surprisingly my wife likes the way it moves. She describe it as if pushing buttons. I thought she would be against it. Hopefully when I change the tranny fluid it will be much smoother.
