Hey guys,

I was poking through a local website and found a 1988 manual 535i for sale. The guy wants about NZD $4000 ($2800 USD). 186 kms, in blue. Thinking of going to have a look tonight. Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks for your input

It would be cheap in Australia, but I don't know the value of cars in NZ.

Is it an E34 or an E28? 1988 was the last year the E28 was made.
NZ $4000 is a good buy for an E34 provided it is in reasonable condition.
Any exotic European car in poor condition is virtually worthless due to the cost of repairs.

I hope you've found a good buy. Good luck!

I think it would have to be an e28 in that year...

Some countries first saw the E34 in 1988, others in 1989.

if it is ok you get a lot of car for the money.Take it somewhere to get it checked at 4000 it will have some issues, but it surely is worth a look.If you can take it to somewhere who knows the e34.
