I was thinking of some style 66 FM replicas for my 535... does anyone have any experience with FM's or this company? Are they worth 400-500 for a set?

Personally, I always liked the look of the Style 66 wheels. though I don't have any personal experience with the Wheel Exchange, they seem to have great eBay feedback and I know they've been around for quite awhile. Good luck.

The M-Pars on my touring came from Wheel Exchange. For replica wheels I haven't heard anything bad about them.

Scott,

You just made up my mind! Rondell's for me please! Look at that lip! Are you running 17's? and if you don't mind could you PM me what Wheel Exchange was asking for them?

personally i think 16's are an inch to small, if your going to get rims, and spend a few hundred, go fot that extra inch, or 2 even, but not 3. and in my personal opinion, i dont like 66's, if you want my opinion, and i think thats what this post is about, heres some of the best looking wheels on a e34
m-pars
style 5's
milie migilia II (contraversial pick)
RD 2's (what liquid has)
BBS RK's
t stars
ect

if it was me looking for wheels those would be on the top of my list

Offset is 13mm front on a 17x8.5. Rear is 15mm on a 17x10

i like the style 66's. however, i think they may look a bit odd in 16" size.

for all the replies. Yeah, I'm not dead set on style 66's and after doing a photoshop cut/paste with 66's on my car I'm not real impressed. I like style 32's, but not sure how they'd look on my car. Any other suggestions of style that look good on the e34?

Style 5 gets my vote (see my sig pic)!

Jon K's and Scott's Rondells both run a close second to my eyes, but I was going for a more reserved look.

I would say stay away. If they are not OEM style 66 it is not worth the money if you ask me. They chip really easy and worst of all, still find that with the Hubcentric rings I still get a slight vibration at high speeds. With my oem 15' rims my car runs really smooth at high speeds but for some reason I do not get that feel with the replicas. With my experience I would spend the extra money and get the real deal next time. If you want, I will sell you mine if you want them that bad. They are a year old with Michelin Pilots. Everything was purchased new.

I got the 66 FM replicas from the wheel exchange ~2 months ago... so far have loved them. Btw, I tried to photoshop before I got them also, but it just doesn't do justice. Hope these pics and pics from others above will help you see the "look" better. Also, going from 15" to 17" sure changes ride quality, but I'll trade that for looks any day. Good luck!

I think you need to make a choice based on what wheel you feel will make you go "daym, my car looks mighty fine there" everytime you walk past it.

Western: Are yours FM's? And are they 16's or 17's? Also, why do you need hubcentric rings, I thought you can order these directly for the e34.

Swenpro: Yeah, you're right. Photoshop doesn't quite do it justice. They do look nice on your car. An inch lower and your car would look really good. But I'm kindof afraid of loosing that much ride quality. I had 16x8 style 5's off of a 740 on my car and I could feel a difference. I know if I put 17's it would be a lot more. So I'm leaning twards 16's. But those 66's look pretty sweet. Hmm..

Anyone here have any pics of 16's on thier e34?
