Incantation

hi, my buddy has an e36 328i and his left low-beam is out .. he replaced the bulb and it doesn't work still. we checked the fuses and the fuses are fine..

which leads me to believe he may be experiencing an LKM failure similar to the e34 syndrome.. so i tried to check but it i have no idea where it is?

so.. is there an lkm? if so.. where can i find it? if not.. any idea where to look next?

thanks

yeah i had a simular problem with my 1984 318i with my blinker light, which was connected by a three prong plug. the plug that connected to the blinker was the female end, that plug was falling apart. The one wire to the hole was slipping out. A quick needle nose grab and push was all it took. If all the connections are fine try a haynes book or something.

Good luck,
Bill
