Aftermarket Fogs/Driving lamps?

Ok, in my neverending search for more visibility...

Has anyone installed aftermarket driving lamps? I like my H1 ellipsoid headlamps, I like my projector rally-yellow fogs, but am interested in more light.

Bahnstormer, would you PLEASE post some detailed instructions, including costs and results, regarding your lighting (on the E34 -- not the Ford)?

It's awesome, but I need you to tell me about it like I'm six years old :)
