dashboard rattle!!??

I am experiencing a very annoying wind associated rattling sound in the middle of the dash.

When driving slow, it makes a small rattle, but over, say, 120km/h, it becomes an annoying roar - if a truck goes past on the other side of the road - a loud rattly roar!

Moving the vent controls and fan speed seems to make no difference and have no effect.

Any ideas of what it might be and where to start looking?

On mine :) - It was the black plastic piece that is outside the car that is decorative and right beneath the wiper arms sitting against the glass. I used some silicone to stick it to the glass. It solved my problem. It occurred at 60mph or so for me with crosswinds. I HAD thought it was an internal flap/servo failing, was happy it was only the plastic vibrating in the wind - good luck.
