Where would the fuse be located for an 1991 UK E34 alarm. My car went into a garage for new clutch and flywheel last year and they said the alarm went crazy so they took out the fuse. Since then it's never worked again. I'm sure the fuse is still missing. I haven't been at the alarm with a DVM yet as not sure of the pinout on the connector block.

I can't go back the garage as it's 200 miles away (clutch and flywheel exploded whilst on holiday but that's another story).

The alarm I have is the dealer only programming type (ie no chip that can be replaced).

well i dont know 100%,..as i am still new to the bmw scene....but in my 92 525,,,if you pull the back seat...then look (where the GM and RM are located)....pull the carpet back a little...there should be a hole there on the metal under the carpet..(you would be looking between the GM and the metal that makes the rear floor)...look down in the hole..thers a black box..with some wires pluged in...and (should be a fuse there).....again...i hope this helps...if it does not...im sure its still a handy piece of info...lol...

Thanks for both of your help, going to have a look at the weekend to see if this is the problem.
