View Full Version : Coolant level sensor removal

My sensor is leaking and I am going to replace it and the oring. My bentley has no info on how to do this. I know I must drain the fluid and then do I simply unscrew it? Seems a little tight to fit a wrench down there. :)

It's a little tightbut it can be done.

Well I just used some vice grips and tried to see if it could be tightened. I got about one full turn on it. This whole leak thing started on the first really cold morning. Maybe it expanded and contracted and loosened the nut up a bit. Anyways I am going to see if that tightening fixed it first. If not then I'll change it out.
