How much current does it draw during normal operation? I just acquired one (the previous owner had it taken out), and I'm also installing a new headunit ...

In other words, I need to know if it will kill my headunit if I power it via the power antena output. Headunit is a JVC KD-S32 cd/mp3/wma.

shouldnt the amp have its own power source? the antenna/amp wire is only for the relay to turn the amp power line on i think..
