Well, I pay almost $5 for a US gallon of RON 98, here. And guess what, the average salary is only half of that in the UK.

And £180 per year for "road-tax" and £40 for an MOT (road worthiness) and the rain, congestion, congestion-charging, road rage.. Not to mention house prices starting at 5x the average salary, taxes, VAT, Tony Blair..
