:D thanks to all who advised on what to look for,
its an '90 535ise auto in dolphin grey, with mint grey leather, 133k miles, full stealer history up to now, (due a service, 1 green light),had new shocks, bushes, droplinks on front 6000miles ago, whole folder of reciepts, only needs front bumper and n/s fog light, drove it 230miles home with no hassles AND got ~25mpg on the run with cruise set at 70 most of the way, im well pleased :D will post pics tomorrow before i start modding!!

the zafira is the wifes, 7 seats for the kiddies (no i dont have 7 thank f@*k) and the m20 was dying (crank rumble @3500 rpm) so im afraid she will have to go! BUT, ill be putting the wheels on the 535, and either selling her for a song for someone to fix up, or (sniff) b-b-b-breaking her, as i lowered her this year 50mm at rear and 40mm at front (i dont think the kit will fit the new 1) but id rather sell it whole, she should last a year for someone! and shes road legal till september next year. ill put her in the classifieds on here for a week or 2 and try her on the bay, even though my mint e28 m5 replica i had didnt even reach £100?

Well, then be thankful to God that your engine is on its way out - now you'll atleast be driving a BMW with a REAL engine :)

I'm joking, but, I sincerely think that you'll be much more satisfied with the M30B35. M20B20 is simply too small for such a big, heavy car.
