In the SF Bay Area, BMW "blue" coolant cost anywhere from $25-30 PER GALLON. You can get "Mini" coolant for a bit less at $20-22 PER GALLON.

However, knowing that in the US, BMW coolant is Valvoline Zerex G-48 (see www.valvoline-technology.com), I found that SAAB coolant, p/n 0268177, is the SAME THANG!

Yup, its blue, comes in a white container with the clear line on the side, and all the same ingredients as BMW:
"Ethylene Glycol (107-21-1), Diethylene Glycol (111-46-6), Sebacic Acid (111-20-6), Sodium Hydroxide (1310-73-2), 2-Ethylthexanoic Acid (149-57-5), Corrosion Inhibitors, Defoamer, Sillicates and Dyes."

The only difference are the front and back stickers and the cap is white, not black. BFD!!!

I found Saab "blue" coolant for $12 per gallon (Downtown Saab in Oakland). SF Saab agreed to match the price, bargain!

Hepu also makes the blue coolant - I have found it aftermarket for a lot loss.

Looking at the picture, that's it! Its the same white container as BMW with only the white cap (instead of black) and different labels. If you look on the side, there's a clear line so you can see the color of the coolant . On the 2 bottles I bought the color is BLUE!

I know Saab has another color coolant, but I was told it was orange....
