possible model change

well, my brother's e30, is on a downward slope, thus he needs a new car, it gives me an oppertunity to upgrade and sell him mine, because he dose like it, and i kinda want to try somthing new anyways. i figure ill sell to him for about 3500, and then iv got 4k in a seprate "car only" account. iv been looking at e36's, and even found a e36 m3 for about 8500, 90k, looks nice. iv been looking at e39 528, i even looked at like a 2000 a6 4.2 quatro, let me know what you think, or even if you have any ideas. mind you non of this is for sure, just an idea.

Check the insurance group with the e36 m3's. For my wife & me(mid+ 30 year olds in great neighborhood), e36 m3 costs more to insure than an e46 m3! I suppose this is due to the demographics; young guys balling up the m3's in their price range.
I've thought an e36 sedan would be a fun replacement for the 535; but every one I've seen has been beaten.
