Okay, so I put the heater on and it begins to heat up and stabilizes after it reaches the set temperature (dual climate control) Then after I go around a tight bend (can't recall which direction) I suddenly feel a burst of even warmer air emit from the vents. Within a few seconds the temp drops back to normal. The heater appears to work fine, it's just this surge of heat after cornering. Maybe the auxilary pump could be suspect? Any suggestions?

Assuming you have the standard dual zone control (non M5/E32 style), what happens when both dials are set to dead cold? Maybe a solenoid/s is bobbing around in the heater valve.
