Hey guys,

I downloaded the ETK/TIS CDs. But they downloaded as .iso files. What do i have to do to burn these cds into a format from which in can 'install' onto the computer.

or is there a way i can just use the .iso files as an install. Jon, i think you mentioned isoBuster.

Thanks Guys!
Jason

yeah....wasn't sure if there was anything special i would have to do while in there. I never got big into the 'burning scence' for some reason. So i can just select 'burn ISO' and it'll make that lovely ISO file into a nice bootable CD?!

you would want a "bootable" ETK cd, but yeah, just start making a normal data cd, and at some point, hit/select the thing for making an image or an iso, at which point you'd point it to the iso, and it should start.

i didn't mean i wanted a 'bootable' ETK cd.....but i want to burn the ISO files into something i can INSTALL from. trying to run an install from a .iso doesn't seem to work too well.

is the same as IRS information on PDF files.....by putting it on an iso, you assure the extractor that all of the files will be there, and work..once you extract it, yes, you will be able to install it to the hard drive or run the TIS off the cd, your choice
