Will these fit an e28? They are advertised with the #'s J7 x 15h2 e20 179-774. Also, will they fit an e34? Thanks.

sounds like it.

If they came from a BMW, they should fit perfectly.

The numbers you posted indicate that they are 15" diameter wheels, 7" wide with an offset of 20mm (e20). The only other variable is the centerbore diameter- should be 57.1mm (IIRC).... If the centerbore is smaller, it won't fit, if it's too large- you should be able to get some hubcentric rings to make it fit properly.

Just make sure the pattern is 5x120 and you will be all set. If they fit an E34, they will fit an E28 and e32 and a lot of other >3 series sedans (and all 3-series that were made after 1992)

I just went out to the car (e28 528e) and it has offset of e22 stamped on the rims. So I guess e20 or e22 offset is okay, right? They are BMW wheels that I'm looking to buy, (craigslist) in So. Cal.

E22 is probably a BMW mark of the rims.. Basically if it is on an E28 already, it will fit an E34. If the owner didnt change the wheel bearings :D
