Here's my bimmerbabe wife when we were tailgating for the CCA races at VIR in May of this year. We were camped out across from turns 5, 5A, and 6 leading to the drive-over bridge.

...been kinda busy lately. My 2 year-old son saw the shirt when I pulled it out of the mailer, looked it over, said "car", then looked a little closer and said "Mommy's car!". We're still working on the narrow grille/wide grille issue...but he picked that out of the perspective view, and I'm pretty impressed!

Gayle, Great job on the license plate!!!

We have all personalized plates. In California there are 4 symbols you can get on a license plate: the star, a heart, a hand, and a plus symbol. I couldn't get the plate GAYLE because it was taken, but G(star)YLE works :)

On the e30 convertible I had one that said LYTE(heart symbol)ED
which is "light hearted" but not many people could get it. People don't think "heart", instead they think "love", so they read it as "light love ed".

I ordered a plate that said NITEBUS after I saw the last Harry Potter movie, cause I drive sort of like the night bus. I didn't pick that plate up from DMV cause we would have to let one of our other plates go to keep it. And I didn't want to give up any of the others and we were thinning the fleet.

My husband has a plate that women understand and men just don't get. Let's see if any of you guys get it. Where I type "(star)" you have to picture a regular 5 point star.

Anybody want to translate?

you can't retain it? - and not have it registered to any car...

Tis what my father did, retained plate...not registered to any car but still paying for the plate...as if it were. Saving it till he gets the 740i cleared up.
