Maybe interesting for the DIYer what tools one should have. Of course never enough
But the money is limited and one has to compromise somehow and buy at least the minimum. As I have now some cars for parting (just got in today another E32 750iL from 1994 below 100 K km with a damage to one front fender and one front door) I decided with my backyard hack mechanic buddies to invest a bit more to make things easier but also safer.

I exchanged 2 oxy sensors on my car without a ramp, that is dangerous, time consuming and troublesome. Also we have earthquakes and I felt really unsave under the car with jackstands only.
All parts were on special offer this week as promotion of a new internet company in Japan. Even the transporatation to my home is included in the price from Hokkaido Island which is more than 1000 km away from Tokyo.

Was like X-mas for me when the Lady of the house approved the money

The bigger items are probably to expensive to ship overseas. I assume that will be parts like modules, ECU, EML, headlights, grill, interior wood and such things.
That comes later in winter. First we have to rush to get the cars stripped and that takes time. Unfortunately - we have a long weekend at the moment incl. yesterday/Friday- we could only work on Friday as today and tomorrow we have a heavy Taifun with lots of rain and wind.
We are thinking of to make a covered place where we can also work when it's raining or in winter. Idea: a simple garden greenhouse with vinyl sheets.
Someone here from the board asked me some days before for some parts to be shipped to Australia.
And when that action is finished I want to continue on my Highline restoration.

Probably yes, but she is happy that I do that instead of going to drinking places and play around there.
