He must have corrected it, says straight inline 6 now.

oh boy: Oil changes every 3500 miles,(Mobil 1 0w-40)

That sure is a waste of good oil.

Good luck on the sale.

do you really *believe* that that oil was changed every 3500 miles with synthetic?

Still A nice ride.

Sure, I'll believe it... I don't see the benefit though.

I was more talking about the aesthetic appearance of the car anyway.

I wanted to thank everyone for the replies. I should have known better than to call it a V6. I guess its officially an inline 6. Im not the mechanic type, but I always know if the car isint performing the way it should and it would go straight to my mechanic. I just had it in today for service. Had a front end alighnment and transmission fluids replaced. To clear things up here with everyone...I bought the car last Summer with 90,000 miles. And yes....I changed the oil every 3500 miles or sooner with M1. I notice a decrease in performance on my car after that time. Could I change it every 5000 miles? Sure I can, but oil is cheap and higher mileage engines appreciate the Love. My car repays me with reliability and smooth driving. Nothing beats a Beemer IMHO. I just love them. As Ive stated, I pick up a Black on Black 325Is next week. This one is a 5 speed. I cant wait to make the first oil change :D Besides, it was much faster than my 92 525. It will be a learning expeirience.

Here is the mobil 1 website. The way I read it, they call their non synthetics something other than "mobil 1" like "mobil clean 5000"

This website answers your every question about mobil 1 on the faq page.

I didnt have a chance to work on the suspension so yes, its stock. They are 18s, had just enough clearance but has changed performance of the car dramatcally for the better.
