Yes they are Lemforder. RRT Machines the mil-spec Bearing in place of the Bushings. - JT

If you are going to be tracking, wouldn't you want to use the aluminum arms...to save some unsprung weight?

Those look like thrust arms to me, in which case i don't believe they are availible in aluminum. I think you can call them upper control arms too, right? its confusing. i just stick to thrust arm and control arm.

no they're not.those are upper arms(thrust loads ie. braking).they come in steel.
lower arms(track control) come in choices of steel or aluminium.

It occured to me that these actually are the Thrust Arms. When I originally took them off the car my mechanic had both sets of the Controls/Thrust. I had told him he could have them and to find a good home for them.

This was before Kriss contacted me about them. When I went back to retrieve them for Kriss - he had sold the other arms and these were what was left. I mistakenly labeled them as the Control arms.

At any rate - thats what they are and what they look like - JT

Where did you get those arms? I am looking for the powerflex bushings too. I hope there is a site out there that has both of them.

what are the powerflrx bushings made from? Are they the steel ones?

They are located in VA. They take the lemforder arms and then machine fit the milspec (Military Specification) Bearings into the arms.

Road Race Technologies specializes in making Custom Race Parts for BMWs.

These ARms - both Control and Thrust arms - will REALLY tighten up your car.

I removed them from mine as I need to use my car as a daily driver. They were just too harsh for me - but - god did they make the car handle. - JT
