Here are some pics of my Vogtland springs installed. Also Shows HIDs.
By the way, this ride is very very nice, as close to stock as I could hope to be :)

What happens when you hit big pothole?

As far as the HIDs go, they're aimed a little lower than stock so I don't blind anyone head on.

I used BOGE Sachs shocks as some of my stock ones were leaking. The ride is nice and when I hit a pothole, yes it is hard, but not too bad.

my friend had hid's in his stock e36 headlights, that are also reflective. aimed lower, they actually don't blind, and the beam pattern is not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. of course ellipsoid is still better.

i also know somebody that has hid's in his civic, and yea, those are kinda f-ing blinding.

btw... nice drop!

I am seriously considering vogtland springs. Will it be bad if I leave the stock schocks on? how big are your rims??? Are you rubbing at all?

Can you post your tire sizes and also measurements from the ground up to the fender across the center of the wheel? Curious how it sits compared to mine.

Looks very good. I was thinking about the sachs kit but you are all making me start to re think this.

Does anyone know the difference in height between these two with 17” rims?

I just wanted to try the cut springs to see how it would ride, and it rode pretty well. I decided to switch to the Vogt's because I sold my SLK and decided to put some love into the 525 :D I also have new slotted and cross drilled rotors, carbon/kev brake pads, all components of front syspension with M5 bushings and E60 wheels to put on this weekend :D
Talk about a fun weekend.
