Mammoth Mountain Here I Come!

Leaving in the morning (Thursday) for Mammoth for a little camping, fishing and golf. Too bad the BMW's staying here. We're taking my friends truck. Last year there were 210 guys on this trip. See you guys Sunday

I love Mammoth! Went there for a three week holiday with my 'rents a couple of years back... Good memories.

I've spent months in the back country there. Besides a topo and a trail map, a very good resource is a book called Mammoth Lakes Sierra by Ginny Smith. You will find it anywhere in town.

Let me know if you want some trail ideas.

Just got back! Man that area is so beautiful! Four days just isn't enough.
