Did Alpina do automatics? Don't know anything about it.

Donīt think there should be something wrong with the car, it+ s just a whole lot of money more than a normal 535 and itīs not that faster either. For that kind of money you should be able to buy an M5, much more interesting.

..than a M5. More than agree with everything else though. :)

Alpina is definitely more exclusive and as the seller can see, it comes with a price. That price to most of us is too much, or else we would jump at the opportunity.

yea that guy lives a few mins away from me.. i talked to him about it at length and he (6 months ago) wanted about 25 grand for it.. about 21US at the current exchange. i assumed it to be manual..

he said it puts out about 250hp .. i think the general consensus is that an M5 in good condition would be money better spent (and cheaper).. maybe some alpina collector might want to pick it up

Well, the Alpine Z8 is more expensive than the normal Z8 as there were only 555 alpina versions made, and they all have automatics and they also have a 4.8 instead of the M5 engine, which is less powerful

Yea for the money I'd want the 'keyline' stripes gone, I've seen better ones done in a parking lot :)
