All I know is that I don't like the 3rd set. They complete a circle.

So do the first 2. That's been my complaint on angel eyes for the e34, I don't like the full ring.

I have seen a few different eyebrow options for the e34. You should be able to find something searching here or google.

PM Incantation. He's put a set of Carbon Fiber Eyebrows on his e34 and they look awesome!

The last option is interesting. It's something you add into your existing headlights. I guesss they work unless your headlight is sealed. I believe at least one of mine is sealed (low / high beams).

I did the last option on my e36 M3 back when they first came out. Was a major PITA back then with the crappy light boxes.

i got a pair like this.. dissappointingly they're not "angel eyes" because the light is a circle and looks lame. you have to get carbon fibre eyelids and/or shadowline tape to mask off the top of the light. real angel eyes only go from 1:30 to 10:30 on the clock like that last photo you have

You cant fit CCFL as they are made of glass and fitting them will require some amount of flexing to get them in and they would break, they would have to be made for the E34 unlike the LED versions on ebay which are universal, but flex slightly so fit fine as I used in mine

These require taking the headlight apart using a heat gun, not for the faint hearted but nice when done, id love CCFL for the brighness but they just wouldnt fit

they're all full circles. the second link of the angel eyes lit up looks to be an e39, not an e34.

anyhow, i'm not a fan of angel eyes except for those models that actually came with them.

well the bulb sort of fell out and rested on the inside. so i guess its my fault. So your telling me since they run cooler that if i buy one of those Angel eye headlight things and get a h1 hid bulbe it SHOULD work? if so SIIIICK

H1 bulbs are not necessarily HID

hey jon, maybe im a bit old fashioned but whats the point of these lights. i only replace things when they need to be replaced. do these give better vision or are they just a cosmetic thing?

Angel eyes are just fancy park lights (or city lights).

Low beams definitely better....High beams are better with the original Hellas. Angel-eyes are not LEDs on these kits but light up adequately bright. CCFLs are AWESOME but they look better on late model cars. They glow like neon. I don't think they'll look good on ours. As said they don't come in our size anyways and can't be flexed. I have a really good feeling that all those links you posted are headlights made by the same root supplier. I was in a dilemma to buy Depos (Asian) or InPros (which are known for better quality) for double. My friend owns an acessories shop and he said InPro is known to get products from all over the place and brand them.....Why pay $400 if they're all the same thing? So I didn't want to pay $200 for a InPro sticker on it.

Am I missing something here?...for me, the fourth link clearly shows a set of CCFL, 1:30 to 10:30 (i.e. not full circle) inserts. This would be the best looking option, IMO, but would also need some type of eyebrow to looks its best given the E34's headlight/hood lip configuration. I agree that 360* angle eyes don't look the best. Anyone cracked open their projector lens assemblies to feet the Bav Auto CCFL's?
