Hehe. Thanks for the compliment.

They are Racing Dynamics RD2's . 18x8.5 front and 18x 9.5 rear running 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 respectively.

Josh You have a fan club. I was complimenting the new pic and shoes on the other thread. Now we can consolidate all your props in one place. :D

Your car looks fabulous with those. Did you get the ring thing worked out? Any shimmy issues?

On another thread you said you had been driving mom's 7 while your was being worked on. Bring us up to date on what you have been doing to your car.

Truly, Josh -- the sig pic is uber nice.

Car looks great. I've said it before and I'll say it again -- you gotta keep the thing :)

best, whit

Haha, you guys crack me up.

I got the rings on, so no shimmy anymore.

Sometimes I feel like I should get a alignment because it's always pulling left. Then, sometimes its dead straight, and once in awhile it pulls right. I dont know. Too much toe in? (what would aligning without the weights do? - too much toe in or out?)

About the work done on my car- It didnt have headlights, because I sold them; so I couldn't drive legally. I borrowed a set of f'd up ones to sit there; so now its driveable. It looked like this for about a week- under a mercedes car cover, hehe.

But, what I have planned for the near future (within two months)- HID w/ euro ellips, some euro trim, tint, sways.

Whit, I am keeping it. :) At least through college. Hopefully by then, I can source a nice (crashed) 95 m3 to use as a donor car- for you know what.

If your tires are very wide, maybe what you're feeling is just hypersensitivity to the road's crown. Wide tires want to follow the curvature of the road, and our roads slope toward the gutter.

Also, though a bit obvious, check your tire pressures :)

That is what I was thinking. But, because of my pulling problems before with my old rims/tires...I'm thinking a extra $60 might be worth it just to be sure.

Jay's talking about tramlining, and it's a big problem with bimmers. My 235s do it and I've learned to live with it. People with 245s on the front really end up fighting the road.

I have Bridgeston Potenzas

235/40R18
265/35R18

What pressure should I be keeping in these?

I was told by Jim@tirerack "The air pressure is based on the vehicle and not the size of the tires or wheels."

So that means I should go be the manual?

Yea. IIRC 33psi front and 41 psi rear.

Josh - Your car is looking very nice!

I am not sure I agree with you about the tire size causing you to pull left or right though, since I have the same size front and back and have no issues.

Do a wheel alignment and see how it ends up.

Car looks great though!

Looking good Josh! I think I might have to come visit and check it out myself.
They're doing roadwork in my area right now. My car is so dirty, you can't tell it's green anymore. In fact, it's so dirty, if anyone from this board would see it I would get banned.
