For those of you who follow along, me and my buddies like to get out in the woods backpacking. I occasionally post picts from these trips. Here's some from the latest trip.

3 night backpack trip to the north slopes of Mt. Adams in the Cascade range. Mt Adams is about 50 miles from it's more famous Washington St. cousin Mt. St. Helens. 12,000 ft peak. Pics taken at anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 feet.

View from the campsite.

Buddy Don on the top of a glacial moraine - that's Mt. Rainier in the background.

A close-up view of the glaciers on Adams. Having problems with scale? Find Jimmy hiking on the top of the moraine in the foreground.

Bimmer stayed at home for this trip. Hope y'all enjoy. Got some pics of your own? Post 'em!

Just beautiful, man. Nothing quite like disconnecting for a few days and just getting away from it all. It's way too easy to get caught up in the consumption mindset.

best, whit

Thanks for sharing those pics. I've got a trip planned in three weeks to Mammoth. I can't wait.
