Great grab that, a charged car is always a bargain, but that's real good. The grille isn't standard though- it would have had a wide one from factory in 1993 (I think) :) GP

Very very nice. Post some videos of you accelerating from inside the car and maybe have your wife film you accelerating from a stand still and maybe a fly by. I would love to hear how your set up sounds not to mention see how it performs.

Nope, none of the e34's had the wide grille until '94 and the 525 didn't get it until '95.

Breyton Inspiration, mine are ACS, well ACS reps :)

All 530's & 540's had wide grilles starting from '93 (here in Oz).
525's got the wide grille here in '94.

As far as I was aware all the V8 E34's were released with wide grilles (inc those in the U.S.)
So are you saying the U.S. didn't get V8 E34's until '94?

To avoid confusion ... SS525i = Jimmyjoe's better half ... who actually gets to drive the e34 every day :)

$7500 .... plus he forgot to mention that it came with another set of Moda BBS wheels with new snow tires on them

It has the infamous 'e34 seat twist' problem.... which we've been working on, the leather needs some conditioning on the front seats..... otherwise it's in great shape....

Yeah, seriously!! Where did you/Thad find the car?

I've seen how impressive Ray Korman's E34/S50 car is at an autox, can only imagine.

I know all the 530's and 540's had the wide grille. I just didn't know any were sold as '93 models. So you could buy a '93 530 or 540 in the US?

S50 is the 1995 M3 engine. BMW uses the s to signify an M engine.
