I have a 95 525 with 17" BMW wheels on it (I bought it used that way) and the right rear is bent badly. I've taken it to a place to have it straightened, but it's too badly bent to fix. It's an OEM BMW 6-spoke alloy, stlye # 10 and I have worn the mouse out on my computer surfing the web to try to find one. I can find dozens of the identical wheel in a 15" size but not in a 17". The local dealership has a brand-new one of course for $480 (yikes!) but I was hoping to find a good used one (that's not bent). Anybody know where I can find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's what it says on the wheel:

BMW e20 1 180 117 8J x 17H2 FPS

Thanks

love the look of your ride, window tints would finish it off well..

can you provide some links to places that have the 15' style 10s? i've been looking for a spare for my set of style 10s, basketweaves and such are way more popular and so i don't have very much luck.

Sharkman and Tiger, thanks for the info. However, I still couldn't find those wheels on the Wheel Collision website. Any other places you might know of? I might have to take you up on your offer, Sharkman. Thanks

Sharkman,

OK, I must be blind. I still couldn't find it on that website. The only 6 spoke 8x17 on that page is not the right one. It's close, but not quite. The wheel on that page has grooves that go all the way into the lug nut cap; my wheels do not. Again, there is a 15" style 10 6 spoke on that page that is the correct style but not the correct diameter. I hope I'm not being a pain; I really appreciate your time! BTW, I have 8" wheels all the way around, not 9's like you do.

ask them to end you a picture of the actual 17 in wheel.....I think there are two styles of 10s,one has a flat spoke without much dish but the other style is like harkmans(and yours by the sound of it) where the spoke bends in,there is some dish<shudder> and the grooves stop short of the center.I think the seventeens are like i have described but the fifteens are not
EDIT wrong again but the two styles are shown here
ANOTHER EDIT looked at etk the 17 only comes in the star spoke styling (style 10)

I just took another look at the picture... It may be a generic pic, a bad one, call and ask for a real picture of the 17x8" style 10 because the picture does not look right for a 17", not yours, not mine.

I may be able to sell you a front wheel, they are in better shape anyway, still a bit bent but better than the rears!
I am either going to sell my car very soon or buy new wheels and you can get one of mine, but like I said, they are not perfect, BUT they look it from the outside lip.
