Finally got around to cutting the pattern and such for my alcantara shift boot. I am not one for sewing, so I asked my mother to assist with that - her work schedule meant that it was not very easy to find the time. Finally, the patterns, materials, and sewing are all complete. This is italian alcantara with factory-like double french stitching. I am waiting for the glue to set the suede to the plastic trim ring before i glue the edges a little more. What do you guys think?

Also, it looks great next to that marble. It'd be cool to have the panel the boot sits in out of something like that.

The buttons would work but I have a custom carpc w/ touch screen so theres no headunit to interface them with anyway.
