Some pics of my car last night at Hot Summer Night II show here in Houston last night. Put on the clears, 540 brake ducts, and mirrors this past week.

I'm real curious to see how it looks when I get it all painted white down there. Never seen on a white car.

Ditto. I want to do the brake ducts, but I need to save money to have em painted at the same time. :(

Thad, I was there and saw your car but there was no one to be seen. You were parked next to the tan 2002, right? It was about 7 pm.

I was walking out when that red e39 M5 pulled in that sounded more like a vette. Got any pics of the Black e39 m5 because I think I just met my next dream car.

Very nice.
How are the Vogtlands riding?
They look kinda low. Any issues with bottoming out or hitting things - speed humps etc?

I like the ride with them. They are rubbing on the passenger front fender when turning and hitting a bump, but nothing a little rolling won't solve.

That's hot! I've been wanting to see a white E34 with clears for ages. If I had the money I's clear mine too.

Post again when you've had it painted white!

Also, I've heard that you can order tow-hook covers with vents, from the diesel E34.

speakiing of louvered tow hook covers...I wonder why the right louvered cover is limited to fewer e34 models than the left cover? When I entered info for my 95 Touring...only the left cover (BMW item #51 11 8 168 917) was in the diagram...and when you do a "parts-cross-reference" search...for the left louvered cover...you get fourteen e34 models (click on the "details on e34" link to see all the models): http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=51118168917&showus=on

but the right louvered cover (BMW item #51 11 8 168 918) appears on only nine e34 model's parts diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=51118168918&showus=on

Hmmm, a puzzling conundrum... :( I wonder if you can still use both lovered covers even if it doesn't appear in the diagram for your specific model.

Call me strange but I don't like those louvered covers, I like the smooth ones better
