Mr. Shogun,

Thanks for the information. After one year trouble shooting, the "error" is fixed. Thanks the information you give.
After I do the things they told on this site, the car started and the problems are gone.

Best regards,
John.

Read it, and if you have EML, think about this first:

I learned that on the German 7er.com board. One of my good friends is an electronic engineer and he produces printed circuit boards.
As far as I understand it:

The EML lamp is a pre-resistor for a transistor in the controller.

Only the defective conductive strip is replaced. One should examine the bulbs whether they are o.k./not defective. This is mostly the case = o.k.. There are 2 12 volt bulbs installed, which are paralell switched. The most frequent source of error/fault is the day-trip km/miles reset button. Under this runs/is located the conductive strip/printed circuit. I found during the last repair that exactly under this button the conductive strip was interrupted/broken.
Only the defective conductive strip is replaced by this new wire.

Hope you can understand what I mean with my poor English.

So, do not push the reset button to hard!
