2005 BMW 530 Electric Window Warning Light

I left one of those sunscreen blinds on the rear passenger windows.

Needless to say, I wound down the windows and now I have a window warning light appearing on the dash.

The window doesn't wind up or down all the way automatically. Is it a mechanical fault? I can't find the instruction manual at the moment and google doesn't seem to come back with anything useful.

Is there an (easy) fix for this?

since this is an E34 board the help you will get is probably going to be limited to just a few people.

Id say something ****ed up when you rolled it down...I would check all the fuses ...just a guess tho but thats where I would start.

As much as i'd like to help, i have no idea what to tell you, never had the chance to even sit in an E60 5er. I did however write a paper on how bangle has mangled BMW quite a bit :)
