hey guys,

I have a '90 535 right now, and just recently saw a 528it for sale locally for $9700. It has 128K miles, but the interior is perfect. no leather wear and no blemishes/dings on the outside. havent gotten a chance to drive it/evaluate it and was wondering if anyone here could point out some particular things I should note on a car with such high milage (for its age), and particular questions I should ask the owner. My 535 has 192,000 mi and has never let me down, but these newer bimmers are a bit more complicated and may have some particular issuses I may not know to look for. thanks!

My mom has a 2000 528iA with 187k on it. The only thing we've had go wrong on it is the cam position sensor, power steering pump failure (our fault for not noticing the loose line fitting on teh pump), and an ABS sensor failure. Nothing huge though, it's a solid car and gets around 29mpg.
