Hey guys, I had great success with the advice y'all gave me about installing the sub, but now I am getting a 1222 fault code, and I have traced it to a whistling vaccum leak on the circled red area on the enclosed image. I couldn't get a part number off of it to see what all is connected to it and I didn't see any dangling hoses, but I did see a spot for a hose to plug into (that is what's whistling.) Any advice would be most helpful.

Brake Booster Check Valve.

I'd assume it's identical to the one used with an M30, and there's this extraneous third nipple on it that needs to be blocked off. Why this third nipple is there, nobody seems to know.

Yours looks new-ish (white instead of black or yellowed) - I doubt it's failed.

While you're at it, check the hoses that it connects to. If they're hardened at all, they're probably leaking a good bit of vacuum, too (mine split open when I bent them a little bit).

See my old one:

That's a pretty clean engine.

Thanks for the info guys, and the compliment! I had taken that picture after wiping all the black parts down so that is why it is looking nice. Now to plug the hole and wait for the check engine light to go off...
