After replacing leather on my steering wheel two wires were pulled out of orange air bag connector below the steering column (accidently).
Mechanic fixed the wires back to the connector, but couldn't reset the light, in fact, he puts it down, but after 10-15 seconds, it lights up again.
He says that maybe there could be a problem with a contact air bag circle part in steering wheel, or something he can't see.
What do you think about this?

the clockspring. Its the piece that usually gets damaged in a case like this.. Its fairly expensive for what it is.

The clockspring. What and where exactly is that part?
