I have a 1990 BMW 525i which current has 220,000 miles on it that i have owned since 1999. I know you all want info so here goes....
Will Need: Power steering repair, suspension work [control arms, shocks, and struts], new tires, new belts, new muffler,
Has: Alpine CD changer with 6 disc in trunk, power leather seats in perfect condition, interior in near mint condition, paint in fair condition with rock chps and cat scratches, great engine that purs and runs strong even with the 220k miles, all ergonomic mechanicals work properly, very clean interior.
This car has not been in any accident that i am aware of. I stopped driving it last winter when the power steering failed. It is still drivable, but without power steering it makes for quite a task. I have since started it up every other day and let it run to keep all the parts in good order. Mecahnically the only problem i experienced with the car during ownership was overheating, which was corrected with new radiator and parts. Other than the repairs the car will need there is also some slight rusting on the driver door and rear quarter panel by right taillight.
I am wanting to sell this car ASAP due to family emergency. I was hoping to keep it around and fix it up to restore to OC, but can no longer do this. I will consider any reasonable offer, even parting out. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the car or have me post pics, please respond. Again thank you for your time. :)
