I saw this on eBay and was curious what a Tax Disc was. Some sort of registration?

It is a paper disc which has to be diplayed on the pavement side of the windscreen. (that would be the left side on our cars)

This proves that the road tax has been paid. (this is a yearly fee of about £170) To get a tax disc you first have to have car insurance and a current MOT certificate (which shows that the car has been tested as roadworthy).

No Probs, Bob
The SORN is part of the v85 sent as a reminder and can be used as proof of registration.

They are sort of saying this car is registered to you, either tax it or declare it of the road.
This will also shortly be aligned with the vehicle insurance info.

Nowhere to run ,nowhere to hide!!
