I know this car since the person selling it also takes care of my M5T and my wife's 540iT, though I have not driven it. (I have offered to switch wagons for a week, but no reply ;-)

It was the initial unit for the Dinan S3-540 Wagon package. I have no idea what the reserve is, but I know the guy spent more than $90K on it.

I still can't figure out how the hell that only turned a 13.9 1/4 mile.

I've seen this car at Classic BMW. It is definitely sweet looking. Watched him take off onto the frontage road, and it was FAST.

I wonder what his reserve is?

I saw that e39 touring on ebay too. Looks pretty nice... but pricey I'm sure!

I wonder how the 540 engine and auto tranny hold out after 30,000 miles of supercharged life?

Do you know if it's been taken care of?

and no dual exhausts to make it look like a real M5? and why keep it an auto at that point? I think the car is cool as hell, but for 90k you might as well do it get as close as possible
