Ok so i finally got away from the boat to do some car stuff.
On a recent roadtrip a chunk of random tire debris knocked out a fog lamp, popped out both the tow hook covers and trashed a bumper light. At least that’s what i thought was the extent of it. Now i find a refrigerant leak in the condensor. There are no visible holes or cracks but the u/v dye clearly shows it's somewhere down low.
Can a shop fix this or should i pony up for a new one?

If you are going to go through all that trouble to get to it you might as well change it. Not to mention if it has not been changed before, odds are you are going to have to change it. In my opinion, spend the $300 and save yourself some headaches down the road. I tried that once and the easy way out always ends up costing you more money down the road. Just a waste of time.
