She can fix my muffler any time...

(its got a hole in it ;) )

Chicks+driving are a winning combo just like ignorance+luck

But they beat us in quite a few other ways so what comes around goes around. I've met a few female cops that can drive... but I am not sure about calling them hotties... if they weren't driving they'd probably be prison wardens... but I can say the prisoners are much better for it! (Sorry girls, I guess I'm just saying there are many exceptions, just as there quite a few blokes around that are faithful and genuinely nice)

I have to agree with our friend from down under....V8 Super Cars rule. Oh and Danika Patrik make Rachel McLeach look like a really hot Super Model.

Huh, she literally has no ass.... Must be because of all the sitting down.

Btw, whatever happened to Sarah Fisher? She never got the "oooh it's a girl in a race car attention".

There has been quite a bit of discussion in IRL about how "fair" it is for Danica's participation under the current rules. IRL rules weigh the car, not the car and driver. Danica is about 40lbs lighter than any other driver which is a significant amount on these cars.

Maybe that lack of T&A doesn't help her FHM spread but it does seem to help her oval performance.

Yeah I heard about that. I don't think they'll penalize her as a competitive female driver seems to be good for the sport.

Her success is probably some sort of conspiracy ploy to help revive the dying US open wheel series... according to the 21st century marketing rules all you need is some T&A to build revenue...

Ya! She caught my eye when I first seen her , back when everywhere you looked she graced magazine covers/articles and TV, then I heard and read interviews and she sure is a cocky 'lil biatch isn't she? Or is that allowed when a woman enters a sport dominated by the male gender?

In Australia we had Rachelle Splatt (http://www.dragway.com.au/rsrhome.html).

She was the first women in the world to break 300mph in a Top Fuel dragster.
She's retired now but she was the fastest drag racer in the country at her peak.

She now runs Dragway Wheels (http://www.dragway.com.au/index.htm)

Yeah... Pity that :(

She doesn't do a whole lot for me. But I know for a fact (from my ex), that trying to fit racing harnesses over a D-cup isn't exactly comfortable!! ;)

Did you read that quotation in Autoweek? Something like, "She's skinny, I'm fat, no fair!!" But that was just one guy, I'm sure there are skinny Indy guys too. :)

You would think it would be most fair to weigh the cars with the people in them.

Jeff N.

Can't remember where I saw it. Just a discussion about the "lightest" IRL guy driver was like 145 lbs or something and she's like a 100 lbs. Most of the IRL guys weigh something like 160 or 165. Pretty obvious that 50 to 60 lbs on a 1200 car is significant.

I suspect if she starts blowing the doors off everyone, they'll consider a changing the weigh in rules. But, it could also be that she's just fast period and has a good crew chief and car.

Anything that get's people talking about IRL is a good thing for them now, don't you think?

BTW - don't you just love the FHM "spread"? Even if you're mildly hot, how can you not look sexy when posed like that? haha...
