Help Dash light won't go off.

Help a Newbie

The light for the odometer and the light for the display for the on board computer does not go off. What could be causing this problem? I'm afraid that the light by staying on all the time will drain the battery

Also my backup light is not working, I checked and replaced all the bulbs and still no backup light.

already tried to pull out the connector from the light switch?

Backup lights are the white light at the rear of the car that comes on when the car is put into reverse.

ah, ok :)

but i don't think that it's the same reason why your lights don't go off. check your trunk harness for a cable break on the hinge for the trunk lid and the reverse gear switch on your gearbox.
