Price is a little high right now, I think. And the car probably needs a lot more work than whatever that guy says it needs (coil springs?! uhhh...)

But if you're located around that area and have the technical facility to do the work -- looks like a SWEET project :)

Well, i know my friends e36 had a rusty rear spring that had a piece fly off the one day...hahaha.

Oh yeah, springs do break. But the ride height would be messed up, which doesn't appear to be evident in the picture, although given the flat tires, the pic could be deceiving.

My concern is that the engine probably hasn't been turned over in 1.5 years or however long the car's been sitting. That's bad news. Plus...to whoever buys it -- plan on doing the brakes and cooling system in addition to everything else that has to be done (tires, suspension). Plus, if you want A/C and the system isn't charged (likely), plan on replacing the entire A/C system (ex$pen$ive -- $2,000+ if you have a shop do it).

If that car was on the west coast I'd be on it. Sounds like it needs a few things but nothing $2-3K would'nt fix assuming you do the work yourself. The problems sound like the normal e34 issues and what you would expect from a car that has sat for a year or more.
Someone needs to do a personal inspection to make sure it is repairable, but I would love to get a 6 speed 540 at that price.

My thoughts exactly. When I was looking all the good deals were either green or red.
