I'm thinking about some Eibach Pro-Kit springs, Konis and a nice set of wheels...

and maybe some M-Tech side skirts....?

Would an M-Tech rear spoiler be overkill?

How about an M-Tech for the front as well?

Or maybe just leave it stock?

Thanks for the pics Paul, that really helps. I'm definately going for some suspension mods and wheels but after looking at the Mtec gear I'm thinking just painting out the sills and lower bumpers white is maybe all it needs. I kinda like the subtle look myself. I reckon there's a really fine line between just enough and too much. I was just imagining how it would look with a little more 'aero' factor! Some 540 brake ducts would be nice though!

Years back everyone wanted a black car, only in Japan there are a lot of white ones and now even in Germany prices for white BMW go up.
Look at this E32, maybe the shocks like this one and some nice wheels

I had three colors in mind when I decided to look for an E34.

Red, silver (maybe grey) or white.
There were too few red examples to be found although I missed out on an nice red 535is (Mtec sports pack).

After looking for about six months I began to gravitate towards a white E34. I'd seen a very clean one lowered with a nice set of wheels that looked very cool without being overdone. After looking at several with blue leather (yuk) and a couple with grey leather I decided I'd wanted black leather but could not find any with black which I thought was a little strange. Finally I found mine! It had everything I was looking for. BLACK LEATHER! Dual climate control, rear headrests memory seats & mirrors, full OBC etc. Low KM's full history. I had to do a little negotiating but in the end I got it for the price I was happy with. But you're right... white is becoming more popular it seems... even in the land of blinged out Hondas! :D

I am also considering springs that lower my white 535, but not alot. If I went with other wheels, I'd only consider 15in. or 16in. (I like my comfy ride too much!). Also, I've seen other white E34's with and without the painted lower parts and I have to admit, I kinda like it stock. Sometimes it looks good all white, other times I am not convinced it is better looking.
Good luck and try looking for a white one that has the sills and lower stuff painted. It seems to look better on some colors than others...?
