OT toys for boys.. anyone know where I can buy???

2 of my friends and I want to buy Traxxas Monster Buggys.... 1/6 scale and crazy wheelie power!!
does anyone have any info on these?
does anyone know where to get deals on toys like this??
so far I have seen it for $879 then you need another 200$ of parts to make it work, plus more parts to keep it running I am sure!
30 mph unless you mod the gears and exhaust, then it it even faster!!!

I don't know if you are new at r/c, but 1/6 is really large, very few tracks big enough to run them and IMO bigger is not necessarily better in this case. If you like speed and jumps check out the traxxas revo (over 40mph) or the HPI Savage 4.6. I've jumped my revo 10-12 feet in the air lots of times and only damaged the body. Also, if this is your first nitro car, get a cheap crappy one first to learn how to tune the engine properly. It's pretty hard to get it right the first time, speaking from experience. yep, me and a buddy each built 1/10 4wd .12 powered cars a few years ago that would circle the local vellodrome at around 65 mph, we got burned out before we maxed out our 1/8 scale's we only got them to 75-80 mph, we were bringing so much crap to the track we totally filled a extra cab pick up inside and out. it never ends
