Hey, I called my BMW dealer's parts dept. to pick up a heater valve assembly.

The guy quoted me $192.00....But with the use of my Jedi skills..I aksed..."Is that with my discount?" So he gave it to me for $162.78.

May the force be with us all.

I have found my dealer to have some parts at a reasonable price, and some exponetially priced.

I picked up a few lock nuts for the dogbones $1.75, and priced the dogbones at the same time for kicks, and found them to be $98.00 each, but then at the same time picked up a differential output seal kit for $16.00.

I'm on the frequent flyer list at my dealer. Parts guy gives me 15% off all the time. If i need hose clamps or stuff like that, he typically gives it to me for free. No complaints!

When I did the clutch on my e30, the pressure plate bolts were 72 cents/piece at the dealer, bavauto still wants something like $1.78/piece!

Thee dealer prices are really ultra violent to me debit card.

I vidie the bits on me ETK and give the lovely debavhka a call on a ringie at thee counter and she only offers 15 off, none of the ole' in out in out for me driving the famous E 34..

no appgigolly for the for the big creast of me funds, so I be thinking.. maybe a little horror show is due when me and me drugees find a better place to creast a few of the ole' E34 bits.

This is just for the A Clock Work Orange crowd.

Real horror show with the boodly Van B

Do you do this all the time? Did he ask you WHAT discount? or did he just give in straight away? How much of an emphasis on "my discount" do you use? I haven't done that **** in australia yet, I'd loved to see the look on his face. I'll post back when it happens.

Make sure if you do it in person you give the guy a little wink and kiss.
