thinking of interesting guages to fit to my console, how does a vacumm guage work on an M20 engine?

the same way it works on any other motor, it sucks when the throttle is closed and not when it's open

And with a big metal fan sometimes it'll go over 0 :)

That would generally make it a boost pressure gauge rather than a vacuum gauge. ;)
