What should a good condition but used exhaust system (complete) be worth?

Is it OEM?

I had an exhaust system fabbed up for my car about a month or so ago for $120 with muffler.

I'd buy the resonator and muffler from you...how's it sound? I am in the US though.

if it's more then a couple years old and has sat for a while id be wary of the muffler baffles being rotted inside

Hmmmm good point the guy says that it came off the car last summer and had been hanging in his garage since then?....I still have no clue what the worth is? 200-300-600?

i certainly wouldn't give more then a couple hundred for a used factory exhaust, and then it would need to be something special

Same here. Personally I'd pay $150 shipped (usd) max if it were rust free for the mst part.

With regard to your OE exhaust system, what I think might be of value is your catalytic converter? Can you tell us how old it is and how many miles? IF it is a true BMW OE cat with low miles, then its probably worth something as a factory replacement is in the $1000 range! Further, OE cats are manufactured in europe and are not available aftermarket. If you want an OE BMW cat the only option is the dealer.

Things like resonator and rear muffler, can be bought OEM as they are supposedly made by Eberspacher. Eberspacher OEM mufflers cost around $250 or so.
