Just a quick note. I'm having our header shop fab a set of longtube headers with merge collectors for my 92 525i. If there is enough interest we could set a jig and do a short production run.

Let me know if you are interested.

Here is a link to some of the headers we currently produce.

Price?

And those pictures are from a four-banger.

It looks like the cost will be roughly $650.00 ceramic coated. Yep, the pics are of one of our race headers for a Miata.

they are actually really well made.
do you intend to change to a single

We'll keep the split exhaust so as to keep the price down.

We may do a single exhaust on my car. Unfortunately, the cost of producing the header and the new exhaust all the way back would be more than most folks would spend.

The header shop already makes long tubes for the big six and the earlier 5ers. We've seen realistic gains on the dyno with those and expect similar gains with these.

So, would these work on a '95 525i? I am not sure what split tube means, so could you tell me what type of exhaust work I would need to do? Simple is good, low cost is good too but would rather it be simple.

I don't know. We'll have to take a look at a later E34 and see if the routing changed.

These should be a fairly simple bolt on.

Very interesting.

When you say merged collectors do you mean 6 - 1 - 2 ?
