Help - Strange prob with horn - 92 525i 5-speed

A couple of times in the past few weeks, shortly after starting out, I have hit the brakes and the horn sounded. WTF??? I have not been able to figure a link between the occurances and they have been a week or so apart. When it happened today, the car was warm, but the temps were in the 50's and rainy. Don't remember the other times.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

LOL...your '92 525iM must have a new "smart" brake - that keeps blowing the horn to warn whomever in front of you. (What's a nice safety feature to have...)

Anyway, check the wiring around the fuse box. One of those wires (horn & brake) could touch each other.
